This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with a top center line discharge configuration. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel NSF61 impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. A dry shaft design prevents contact with the system fluid, while included flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections provide access for monitoring and maintenance. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This unit is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and no drip cover. It operates at 1750 RPM on 230-460V/60/3PH power and utilizes an across the line starting configuration. The pump is configured with a 145 JM motor frame with feet. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions. This pump model carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.78.
