This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and is fitted with a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the unit is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes a NEMA 256T frame. The pump is installed on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The system meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI value of 0.92. It is configured for across the line starting and operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
