This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve to protect the shaft from the circulating fluid, utilizing a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. The assembly operates at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI and utilizes a dry shaft design. The volute includes center-line discharge for air venting and provides connections for suction and discharge gauges.
Powered by a 3 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor, this assembly operates at 1750 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and accepts 380-460V / 3PH power, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. Parallel pumping and multi pump control are supported. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
