This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and 4" discharge using ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design. The top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting and simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a 256 JM frame with feet, operating at 1750 RPM. It operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements for 40°C ambient conditions. This assembly features CCW rotation and maintains a PEI value of 0.97.
