This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a dry shaft design that utilizes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F in clean water applications.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a 213 NEMA T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60/3PH with across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and is rated for 40°C ambient conditions with counter-clockwise rotation. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This unit maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
