This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. The unit uses a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for clean water applications.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 215 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 200V, 60Hz, 3PH, utilizing across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a standard Woods coupler and greasable bearings in the bearing frame. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
