This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps for particle filtration.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP motor. The motor is an ODP, NEMA frame 182, T-frame style from Baldor, configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is equipped with a Woods coupler and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system uses across-the-line starting and achieves a DOE PEI of 0.88.
