This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and is equipped with gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system pressure.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 100 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 405 T frame. It is configured for a 460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is provided with an OSHA and a Woods coupler. This equipment meets NEMA standard requirements, operates in a 40°C ambient temperature, and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.93. The internal bearing assembly utilizes sealed-for-life bearings designed for a minimum L10 life of 60,000 hours.
