This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a bronze impeller. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction, utilizing a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve over a stainless steel shaft to prevent fluid contact. A mechanical seal using ceramic seats and EPT rubber components maintains system integrity at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI.
The assembly integrates a 50 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with an Aegis grounding ring, powered by 380-460V / 3PH input, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.46. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
