This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. This pump is configured for clean water applications and incorporates a dry shaft design.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is built on a NEMA 324TS frame and requires a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler for the drive connection. This equipment maintains a 40 °C ambient rating and meets NEMA standards. It has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
