This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ports, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal design keeps the pump shaft isolated from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal is used, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 10 HP TEFC WEG motor that operates at 3450 RPM. It features a 215 JM frame style with feet and an integrated drip cover. The motor operates on 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures, complies with NEMA standards, and meets premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly maintains a CCW rotation and has a PEI of 0.83.
