This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This unit uses a 184T NEMA frame and is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a standard Woods coupler. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The bearing frame incorporates greasable bearings for operation in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C. This equipment maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
