This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which allows for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit is constructed for use with clean water and does not include a wear ring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG ODP motor in a NEMA 284 T frame enclosure. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3 PH, using an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system operates in 40 °C ambient conditions and has a PEI value of 0.97.
