This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a cast iron casing, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation in clean water up to 300°F. The assembly is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is powered by a 75 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 365 T-frame, operating on 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. It is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This configuration meets the MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standard and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
