This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump includes ANSI Class 125 flanges with a bronze wear ring. The dry shaft design isolates the shaft from system fluids, while the mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly handles temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design permits maintenance without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. Pressure tappings are located on suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps for optional filtration.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure and a 184 JM motor frame style with feet. The unit operates on 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and adheres to NEMA standards with counter-clockwise rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.83.
