This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design incorporates flush seal line taps and a rear pullout configuration for service access. A dry shaft design isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, 230-460/60/3PH power supply, and a NEMA-standard 256 JM frame with feet. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the unit is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
