This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft to maintain operational integrity. The assembly incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve to protect the shaft and a ceramic seat mechanical seal with EPT rubber to ensure proper fluid containment. Engineered with a dry shaft design, this unit handles pressures up to 125 PSI and integrates a replaceable wear ring within the casing for enhanced serviceability. The center-line discharge configuration allows for positive air venting while the pump design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
Powered by a 10 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor, this unit operates at 3450 RPM and integrates Aegis grounding, a 200-230V / 3PH power supply, and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.43. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
