This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing without a wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The unit features a JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards, operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature, and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
