This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The construction integrates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft, protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. For fluid containment, the assembly utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber, rated for 125 PSI. This configuration allows maintenance of the seal and bearing housing without disturbing existing system piping.
Powered by a 2 HP, Premium Efficiency, TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis Grounding, the assembly utilizes a 380-460V / 3PH power supply and holds a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
