This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. Internal components consist of a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump assembly handles clean water at temperatures up to 300°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate gauge installation.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM using a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 184T NEMA frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power with across-the-line starting and CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly mounts to a welded structural steel base that incorporates a drip pan. A Woods coupler connects the motor to the pump and is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
