This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, equipped with a bronze wear ring. The casing is made of cast iron, and the pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 256T frame. It operates at 1150 RPM using a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and features premium efficiency according to NEMA MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan. The pump connects to the motor using a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard.
