This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The unit is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping.
The pump is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, operating at 3450 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is built on a 256 JM frame with feet. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.94. The motor is rated for operation in a 40 °C ambient temperature environment.
