This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is configured with an 11" diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump casing includes an integrated bronze wear ring, pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections, and a bottom drain port.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 215 T-frame. The motor operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and meets premium efficiency standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods flexible coupler enclosed by an OSHA-compliant guard. The bearing frame is equipped with greasable bearings. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
