This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The internal assembly includes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal featuring a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump is rated for clean water temperatures up to 300°F and incorporates a dry shaft design with greasable bearings housed in a bearing frame.
This pump is driven by a 60 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 364T frame with an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is configured with across-the-line starting and is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.93 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment.
