This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve with a stainless steel shaft. The nominal impeller diameter is 13-1/2". The unit utilizes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump is driven by a 60 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, NEMA 364T frame, and a premium efficiency rating that meets MG1-12.55 standards with integrated AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor operates at 1750 RPM on 230-460/60/3PH power and features a counter-clockwise rotation. It is configured for across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The equipment maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
