This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2-1/2" suction, and a 1-1/2" discharge connection. The pump uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a dry shaft design that uses a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. Sealing is provided by a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit features a rear pullout design to allow for maintenance without disturbing piping and includes flush seal line taps for the installation of an optional filter.
The pump is configured with a 1 HP Baldor motor in a 143 JM frame style with feet and an ODP enclosure. This unit operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and the assembly has a PEI of 0.83. The top center line discharge orientation assists in piping layouts and promotes self-venting of the pump casing.
