This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. It utilizes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and ANSI Class 125 flanges with a bronze wear ring. It is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting. Flush seal line taps are included for the installation of an optional filter.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is mounted in a JM frame with feet and is rated for 40 °C ambient temperature conditions. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is configured for counter-clockwise rotation and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
