This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges and features a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH electrical input and uses a NEMA 365T frame. The system features across the line starting and includes a welded base with a drip pan and a standard coupler guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings to facilitate maintenance. This equipment meets NEMA standards and has a PEI of 0.93. The motor efficiency meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
