This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F in clean water applications. The bearing frame assembly includes sealed-for-life bearings and flush seal line taps, while the casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184T frame. It utilizes 230-460/60/3 PH power and features premium efficiency, with AEGIS shaft grounding and across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures. The pump is mounted on a welded steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This configuration meets a DOE PEI of 0.88.
