This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 300°F for clean water applications. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 145 T-frame. The motor supports a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit features a premium efficiency design that meets MG1-12.55 standards and has a PEI value of 0.81. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. The starting option for this configuration is across the line.
