This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump operates at a maximum temperature of 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. Integrated flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are included.
This unit uses a 15 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 254 JM motor frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for 230/460/60/3 power. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and provides premium efficiency. The pump is set for CCW rotation and functions in a 40°C ambient temperature environment. This model has a PEI value of 0.92 and employs an across the line starting option.
