This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly features a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. This pump is configured with a rear pullout design for maintenance, top center line discharge, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. The motor is designed for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55. It is housed in a 213JM motor frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This configuration supports across-the-line starting and provides a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
