This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge ports, as well as ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It is constructed with a rear pullout design and a dry shaft configuration that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The unit includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Integrated features include flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, rated for 1750 RPM. It operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power with across the line starting. The motor is mounted in a 213JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and adheres to NEMA standards. This pump complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91. The top center line discharge configuration assists in simplifying piping layouts and reducing system strain.
