This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting circulating system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with pump venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes a JM motor frame with feet. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and adheres to NEMA standards. Additional specifications include AEGIS shaft grounding and across-the-line starting. This equipment maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.92 and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
