This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction port and a 1-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump features a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, and it includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC WEG motor in a NEMA 213T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI value of 0.85. It is mounted on a welded steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, utilizes a counter-clockwise rotation, and supports across-the-line starting.
