This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, NEMA 213 T-frame, and premium efficiency meeting MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupler. The system is configured for across-the-line starting with a DOE PEI rating of 0.88. It operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
