This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and incorporates pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while flush seal line taps accommodate an optional filter. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The assembly also includes a bronze wear ring.
This pump is configured with a 1-1/2 HP motor in a 145 JM frame with feet and a Baldor ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on 230-460/60/3 PH power using an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a Super E premium efficiency unit meeting NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and 40 °C ambient temperature requirements. The pump assembly provides a standard counter-clockwise rotation and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.78.
