This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter. The unit uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 364 T frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA. It features AEGIS shaft grounding, meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, and has a PEI value of 0.93.
