This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, supported by a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal assembly consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal design supports a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. The unit is constructed without a wear ring and includes pressure tappings for monitoring suction and discharge conditions.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG TEFC motor on a NEMA 213T frame. It utilizes a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and features across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This configuration meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient operation and CCW rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.96.
