This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft, minimizing corrosion risks. Mechanical sealing is managed by a ceramic seat with EPT rubber components. The pump assembly accommodates system pressures up to 125 PSI. Integral flush seal line taps allow for the installation of auxiliary filtration to protect the seal from non-condensable particles within the system.
This unit incorporates a 75 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, with Aegis grounding, powered by 380-460V 3PH electrical supply, and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
