This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit incorporates a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes flush seal line taps for filter installation. It is equipped with a mechanical seal comprising a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation in temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This motor is built on a 256 JM frame style with feet and supports a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is rated with a PEI value of 0.89 and is configured for 40 °C ambient conditions.
