This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge connections. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The unit is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 145 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 200V, 60 Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump utilizes across-the-line starting with a counter-clockwise rotation and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The product conforms to DOE standards with a PEI of 0.86.
