This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge connections using ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump is configured with a 1 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor mounted in a 143 JM frame style with feet. It operates on 230-460/60/3 PH power and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for 40 °C ambient temperature conditions. It is constructed to NEMA standards with CCW rotation and includes a drip cover and across-the-line starting. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
