This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a class 30 cast iron casing with an integrally cast mounting foot and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing is configured with pressure tappings and flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 100 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 404T frame. The motor enclosure is ODP, and the electrical configuration is 460/60/3 PH. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler for the drive connection. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding, operates at a 40°C ambient temperature, and has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
