This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The rotating assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are located at the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding device.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG ODP motor in a NEMA 364T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power input with across-the-line starting and meets premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The bearing frame features greasable bearings, and the motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation.
