This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid movement. The internal construction utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft, which is shielded by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Silicon-carbide seat halves and EPT rubber components form the mechanical seal assembly. Rated for 125 PSI, the pump integrates a wear ring and provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
The 3 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, integrates Aegis grounding, and supports a 200-230V / 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The S in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
