This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump casing is constructed from cast iron and houses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are standard. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, while the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a factory-installed drip cover. This motor is configured in a 284 JM frame style with feet and supports 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line. This unit maintains a 40 °C ambient temperature rating and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
