This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system pressure.
This pump is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and operates at 3450 RPM. It utilizes a NEMA 286TS frame motor with AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard.
