This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes integrated gauge ports for suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a 256 T-frame. The motor is TEFC enclosed and configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit includes a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard utilizing a Woods coupler. The system is designed for 40°C ambient conditions and features permanently lubricated sealed-for-life bearings. This equipment carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
