This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve within a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. This unit is intended for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor uses a NEMA 213 T frame and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, featuring an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
